At the first time, it’s not easy to get into the book easily. I often left it over every one chapter I’ve passed. I didn’t think that Haruki Murakami would be a hard writing at first (for me at least). But after a few months struggle with a chapter to another, it got me used to it. Used to the unique characters that Haruki made, odd chapters he wrote, and very details drawing of everything around by his writing. And cannot get off of it because of the curiosity he’s made.
Kafka On The Shore is a story that was written with each of every single details that won’t be missed by Haruki. Both character were drawn separated, until at the end suddenly all of things remarkably connected. They are a fifteen year old boy named Kafka Tamura, who ran away from home and try to determine the meaning of life, and how the mysterious theory happened in his life. And an old man named Nakata, a kind of retarded old man, that cannot write or read since an accident happened in his child time, has a very simple but remarkable character, and somehow destined to save Kafka’s future.
Reading this book, is like you don’t want to miss a thing every chapter you’ll pass. With each of the characters besides the powered one, Nakata & Kafka. How they lived and connected between each other, and how about every people should appreciate their life, who they are, and the time they’ve been trough.
A writing of great illustrations.
